Salary Range $48,000 - $95,000, depending on experience Position Summary The Investigations Specialist serves as the primary resource for investigating and documenting evidence critical to our clients' cases. This position works closely with Claims Specialists, Litigation Specialists, and Attorneys to ensure thorough case investigation while embodying GGRM's values. This position requires a unique combination of investigative skills, legal knowledge, and interpersonal abilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Processing assigned tasks in accordance with Firm policies and procedures. Ensuring case management software (CMS) feed is cleared daily. Completing all assigned tasks by relevant deadlines. Documenting all relevant activity in CMS properly. Ensuring emails are cleared daily. Leading investigative efforts to support personal injury cases from intake through resolution. Conducting thorough scene investigations, including photographing, measuring, and documenting environmental and hazardous conditions. Collecting, preserving, and organizing physical evidence while maintaining detailed chain of custody records. Creating accurate scene diagrams and reconstructions to aid in case development and presentation. Interviewing witnesses, obtaining detailed statements, and assessing credibility for use in litigation or settlement. Reviewing and analyzing police reports, surveillance footage, property records, and weather data to identify liability. Coordinating with accident reconstruction experts and external investigators to strengthen case findings. Preparing comprehensive investigative reports and summaries to support demand packages and trial preparation. Maintaining well-organized case files, evidence logs, and witness databases for easy reference and collaboration. Collaborating with attorneys to schedule interviews, prepare witnesses for depositions, and track availability. Participating in strategy meetings with Claims and Litigation teams to provide updates and investigative insight. Training team members on best practices in investigative techniques, evidence handling, and documentation. Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements Required Qualifications Associate's degree in criminal justice, legal studies, or related field A valid Nevada driver's license, valid driver's insurance, and proof of driving record Minimum two years of investigative experience Knowledge of personal injury law and evidence collection Understanding of chain of custody requirements Advanced photography and video documentation Proficiency in scene documentation software Experience with evidence tracking systems Strong report writing abilities Excellent documentation skills Knowledge of investigation techniques Understanding of legal procedures Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field Licensed Private Investigator Accident reconstruction experience Bilingual in English and Spanish Experience with personal injury cases Background in law enforcement Certified Legal Investigator (CLI)
