GSG Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Investigator IV to provide critical investigative and administrative support. This role focuses on the preliminary stages of investigations into educator misconduct, ensuring that all necessary legal documentation and records are gathered, tracked, and prepared for formal review.Key Responsibilities:
Subpoena Management:
Prepare, submit, and track investigative subpoenas to obtain essential records.Records Acquisition:
Coordinate the gathering of sensitive records from school districts, law enforcement agencies, courts, and DFPS across various jurisdictions.Case File Management:
Maintain meticulously organized case files and ensure all investigative documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for assignment.Administrative Support:
Provide high-level technical and administrative support to staff investigators, including performing records-intensive tasks.Docket Preparation:
Ensure cases are administratively complete for Focus Docket assignment. Required Skills (Deal Breakers):Legal & Regulatory Knowledge:
Working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to child abuse, solicitation, misconduct, fraud, and confidentiality (including the Texas Penal Code, Education Code, and Family Code).Investigative Background:
Professional experience conducting formal investigations and comprehensive complaint reviews.Communication:
Exceptional written and oral communication skills for coordinating with multi-jurisdictional agencies.Time Management:
Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks under strict deadlines.Background Check:
Must be able to pass a DPS Criminal Background Check to access sensitive criminal history records.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience reviewing allegations of abuse, solicitation, or violations impacting student populations. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume administrative or investigative environment. Proficiency with Smartsheet and SharePoint. Why Work With Us?
