Providence, RI:
$145,000 to $180,000 In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingentpensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingentpensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range is Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate of the annual salary it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting. Job Requirements:
Our Government Investigations and White-Collar Defense Practice Group is seeking to hire an associate to join our Providence, RI office. Qualified candidates will have two to four years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and analytical skills and will havepleted a clerkship. Demonstrated written advocacy experience in the defense of government investigations, government enforcement litigation and relatedplex civil fraud litigation is preferred. Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, superb judgment andmunication skills, and amitment to providing excellent client services. Our team has extensive proficiency in counseling, investigating, defending, and litigating all forms of government inquiry. Our nationwide representation includes managing matters from the investigation and grand jury stages through trial and, if necessary, appeal and collateral proceedings. We provideprehensive services to individuals andanizations that receive civil investigative demands, subpoenas, or any other requests for information from federal prosecutors, state prosecutors or investigative agencies.
