POSITION OBJECTIVE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

(These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.) Provides a security presence at the school complex by walking around the facility and monitoring activities and students; reports the presence of unauthorized personnel to the school office. Monitors activities on campus to ensure the safety of students, which may include: identifying safety violations; diffusing situations among students; reinforcing positive social behavior Performs minor housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks to keep the environment free of litter and/or dangerous situations. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

(positions in this class typically require): High School Diploma or G.E.D.; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

• Ability to complete Crossing Guard training.
• Valid Department of Public Safety (DPS) Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (FPCC)
