Reporting to the Auxiliary Manager, the Auxiliary Assistant provides support for facilities rental events and retail operations and augments support for events related to the Religion Department. Specifically, areas of responsibility will include the following: Facilities Rentals Serve as the on-site contact for facilities rentals and answer frequently asked questions from entities renting space which may include a range of renters from sports leagues to wedding events; refer more complex questions to the Auxiliary Manager. Ensure rental space is properly maintained and used according to the rental space agreements. Support use of the Little Sanctuary (chapel) for rentals such as weddings or funerals. Helping maintain and update rental calendar and website. School Store Assist the Auxiliary Manager in big sales events at the school store and assist with routine inventory. Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily and to aid in loss prevention; maintain the outlook of the store through organizing and dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise. Operate the Point-of-Sale system for sales transactions according to procedure. Greet and interact with customers. Concession Stand and Sam's Bar Take customer orders and assemble them correctly. Check food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met. Keep the assigned area clean, sanitary, and safe. Complete inventory sheets, noting supplies that need to be replenished. Operate the Point-of-Sale system and collect money for purchased food and beverage items. Ensure safeguarding of cash. Provide appropriate supervision of students during Sam's Bar operations to ensure a safe, respectful, and orderly environment consistent with school expectations. Monitor student behavior and address minor issues in the moment using clear, calm communication. Promptly report concerns, repeated issues, or more serious behavior matters to the appropriate Dean or school administrator in accordance with school protocols. Serve as a visible adult presence and role model, reinforcing community standards while supporting a positive student experience. The position may perform other related duties as assigned.
