Job Description
Under the direction of the After School Care Supervisor, the Afternoon Supervision (AS) Leader is responsible for the supervision of students in grade 6 and provides a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for the children. The Leaders will supervise students after school as they engage in age-appropriate games, activities, and quiet independent work until they are picked up or transition to their afternoon lessons/classes. The AS Leader works well with the ASC Supervisor, Student Workers, Punahou Faculty, Staff, and Parents. Evaluates the effectiveness of the program and activities, ensures the safety and physical well-being of the children, and contributes to the effective operation of the overall AS program.
