Job Description
This position is for individuals interested in serving as a Site Monitor and/or Site Facilitator at Iowa Central's Career Academy Eagle Grove location. Responsibilities vary by assignment and may include supervising students, assisting instructors, supporting classroom activities, and helping ensure a safe, organized, and positive learning environment. Monitor students during the school day and maintain a safe learning environment. Assist instructors with classroom activities and daily operations as assigned. Facilitate communication between students, instructors, and Career Academy staff. Supervise students during breaks, transitions, or other assigned times. Maintain accurate attendance and other required records. Enforce Iowa Central and Career Academy policies and procedures. Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and partner school districts. Perform other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred. Experience working with students or in an educational setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
