In this vital role, you will supervise students during recess and outdoor play, enforce safety regulations, and promote positive behavior. Your leadership will foster a fun, inclusive atmosphere where children can develop social skills, enjoy physical activity, and feel secure under your watchful eye. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' daily experiences while maintaining a safe and supportive playground environment. Responsibilities Supervise students during outdoor playtime, ensuring their safety at all times Enforce school policies and safety regulations to prevent accidents and manage behavior effectively Implement conflict management strategies to resolve disputes quickly and fairly Support students with special education needs and physical disabilities to ensure inclusive participation Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff regarding student behavior and safety concerns Conduct routine inspections of playground equipment to identify hazards and coordinate repairs as needed Lead emergency response procedures, including evacuation drills and first aid administration when necessary Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of behavior management techniques for students with special needs or disabilities Familiarity with school policies, safety regulations, and evacuation procedures Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and staff Experience managing conflicts and maintaining discipline in a dynamic environment
