Work Schedule:
Shift is 3.0 - 3.25 hours per day; part-time/non-benefit. First day of school : August 19, 2026 ASSIGNMENTS

Permanent positions currently available for K-2 & Grades 3-5. These openings are for less than 5 days per week. (if seeking a substitute role please apply to that job opening specifically)
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong interest in working with school-age children Good communication skills Good interpersonal skills Able to problem-solve issues quickly Successful experience supervising children grades K-8 Dependable Possesses good judgement First Aid Certification a plus Possesses the ability to communicate and follow written and oral directions in a clear and concise manner Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Supervise and assist students in the lunchroom with continuous observation Supervise and assist students on the playground with a keen awareness for safety and precautionary measures Assist team with cleaning the lunchroom Assist team with distribution of lunches Will be considered a mandated reporter for abuse and neglect (DCFS) Be engaging, reliable, and kind De-escalate conflict or an angry student situation Employ medical and safety precautions/responses May be asked to assist the school staff with light clerical duties as assigned by the principal, such as copying, organizing, laminating instructional materials, processing mail May be asked to assist in the media center with non-clerical tasks, e.g. shelving books, straightening materials Other tasks as assigned by the principal Use Red Rover Absent Management System to submit absences and to request substitutes for vacancies Complete all mandatory training requirements : Annual online Global Compliance Network (GCN) training and various school building drills/trainings such as fire drills, active shooter training, & tornado drills. Holidays, winter break, spring break, and summer break are non-active working days. Hours will range from 9:45 a.m. - 1:20 p.m. depending on actual school building. Five (5) days in school year designated a Professional Learning Days (PL)/Early Release Days which are half-days for students; your day would begin earlier at either 8:15 or 8:30 a.m. to accommodate the short day.
