This is a part-time, seasonal position involving public contact with school children, and ensuring their safety while walking to and from school. Work occurs throughout the community near assigned schools. Hold a stop sign to prevent traffic from entering an intersection while pedestrians are crossing. Greet, talk, and interact with children and other pedestrians in a courteous, professional manner.

Requirements include:

Ability to tolerate a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow. Ability to speak English clearly. Ability to stand, walk, and hold a five-pound stop sign. Ability to work unsupervised. Ability to pass a background check. Excellent interpersonal and community relations skills. Spanish-speaking a plus Work Schedule and Information Schedule and hours may vary, but could generally be Monday through Friday, with morning, mid, or late afternoon crossings.
