Elementary School - After School Care Monitor Most Precious Blood Catholic School is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Part-Time After School Care Monitor to join our school community. This individual will help provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for students in our after-school care program while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. Essential Responsibilities Supervise students in Preschool through Grade 8 during the after-school program. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Assist students with homework as needed. Plan and supervise age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities. Prepare and serve simple snacks according to school guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Communicate respectfully with parents during student pick-up. Follow all school policies, emergency procedures, and Safe Environment requirements. Model Christian values and positive behavior for students. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children is preferred. Must enjoy working with school-aged children in a positive and nurturing environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to supervise children in both indoor and outdoor settings. Must successfully complete all required Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend background checks and Safe Environment training prior to employment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and actively supervise children for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to participate in indoor and outdoor activities. Schedule Part-time Approximately 2:50 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on school days (actual hours may vary based on program needs and student attendance). Why Join Most Precious Blood?
