VAN MONITOR

Weymouth Public Schools is seeking van monitors to accompany students with disabilities from their homes to the schools they attend.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist van driver in assuring seat belts, harnesses and wheel chair clamps are secured as required Consult with and assist van driver in documentation of student information and recordkeeping Assist the van driver in maintaining discipline on school van; monitor and assist students while bus is in operation Assist with safe loading, unloading and seating arrangement of students as required
Requirements:
5 Hours per school day - School Year Only (with possible summer work) Experience with special needs students preferred Perform other duties as requested by the Transportation Supervisor
