This part-time position plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and efficient lunchtime experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive school environment. Responsibilities Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring their safety and well-being. Assist in the distribution of meals and snacks, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lunch area, including tables and serving stations. Encourage positive social interactions among students and assist with conflict resolution as needed. Monitor student behavior, ensuring adherence to school rules and policies. Support students with special needs, providing assistance as required. Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student concerns or incidents. Participate in training and professional development opportunities as required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards students. Must pass background checks as required by school district policies. Availability to work during lunch hours on designated school days.
