To Be Determined Job Description The ISS Technician at LSE will supervise students in the in-school suspension classroom, process and problem-solve with students, hold students accountable regarding school expectations, and provide academic support. In addition, this technician will oversee the Knightly Success program at LSE - Knighty Success is an academic intervention program.

Desireable Skills/Experience:

Applicant should have experience in one or more of the following areas: conflict resolution, restorative practices, academic support, middle or high school setting, and managing teenagers. Duties & Responsibilities Provide structured supervision of the in-school suspension and Knightly Success programs. Take daily attendance. Communicate student attendance and performance to staff daily. Communicate with students' families regarding disciplinary matters. Work with students in the areas of reflection, decision-making, and restorative practices. Monitor student assignments, tests, projects, and computer usage while providing students with guidance and encouragement. Communicate student work requests to teachers. Collaborate with students' administrators on next course of action when necessary (goal setting, assignments, continued behavior concerns, etc.) 183 Tech Calendar 21.10 Hourly Pay Rate/ M-F Position subject to veteran's preference
