Job Description

Student Supervision:
Oversee students during non-instructional periods, including lunch blocks, outdoor recreation, and playground activities, to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
Behavioral Management:
Maintain order and enforce school conduct codes in high-traffic common areas such as hallways, gymnasiums, and locker rooms.
Safety Monitoring:
Provide active surveillance in specialized areas, including swimming pools and school bus loading/unloading zones, to prevent accidents and ensure student security.
Incident Reporting:
Promptly document and report behavioral issues, safety hazards, or medical concerns to the Building Principal or Assistant Principal.
Conflict Resolution:
Intervene in student disputes or disruptive behavior using approved de-escalation techniques and school policy guidelines.
Administrative Support:
Assist school leadership in implementing daily schedules and ensuring students are in their assigned locations during transition periods. This position is for 3.25-3.5 hours per day for 10 months per year. Hourly rate is $17.46/hour
