Availability Requirement:
Must be available to work at least three days per week, including Fridays.
Compensation:
Hourly Position Overview Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and student-centered individuals to join our Extended School Program (ESP) team. Working under the supervision of the ESP Group Leader, the Student Aide helps create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for students during after-school hours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact through games, creative activities, homework support, and relationship-building. Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising students participating in the after-school program. Support students with homework completion and academic activities. Facilitate games, recreational activities, and structured play. Assist with arts and crafts projects and other enrichment activities. Encourage positive social interactions and inclusive participation. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. Support snack distribution and cleanup as needed. Follow program procedures and safety expectations. Communicate concerns or student needs to the ESP Group Leader. Qualifications This position is part of LVA's student work opporunity program. Applicants must be be a minumum of 16 years of age and enrolled in High School. Experience working with children in a school, camp, childcare, recreation, tutoring, or volunteer setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
