The City of Marinette Police Department is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Crossing Guard to assist students and families safely crossing streets before and after school. This position is ideal for retirees, parents, grandparents, students, or anyone looking to earn extra income while helping keep children safe. Morning Shift:
7:30 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.Afternoon Shift:
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Essential Duties- Assist student and families in safely crossing designated intersections.
- Monitor traffic conditions and promote pedestrian safety.
- Stop traffic when necessary in accordance with training and procedures.
- Maintain a safe crossing environment.
- Report safety concerns or incidents to the Police Department.
- Perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions.
