job summary: Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry is looking for a document control specialist for their Anaheim, CA locations.
Key qualifications include:
a minimum of three years of work experience supporting Engineering or Architectural fields, understanding of the principles behind engineering and architectural drawing release procedures and of AutoCAD and SolidWorks. An associate's degree or relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities:
Autonomous Configuration Management:
Independently manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering and architectural documentation, including the integration, archiving, and accurate metadata entry into the EDMS.
Technical Data Integrity:
Maintain high-quality control over CAD files and electronic records by auditing metadata, managing title block information, and developing AutoCAD libraries with minimal supervision.
Project Team Partnership:
Act as a subject matter expert for project teams and engineers, providing guidance on naming configurations, document release procedures, and system uploads to minimize costs and duplication.
Operational & Production Support:
Oversee daily operations for large-format printing and scanning, including plotter maintenance and executing specialized print orders.
Global Research & Stakeholder Support:
Serve as the central point of contact for all Disney Parks & Resorts worldwide, performing technical research and coordinating the release of deliverables for both domestic and international sites.
