Job Description
Wiring Documentation Specialist (Full-Time, Permanent) Arcadia Test, Inc. | Fremont, CA Arcadia Test designs and manufactures high-precision test fixtures and automated test equipment for the aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics industries. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Wiring Documentation Specialist to support the development and production of test fixtures. This is a hands-on role focused on creating accurate production files. You'll work with engineering and production teams while learning test fixture wiring processes and documentation standards in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Create wiring lists, from-to lists, and production files used to wire test fixtures. Interpret electrical schematics and test point data to generate clear wiring documentation. Generate complete documentation packages and support revision control. Collaborate with designers and production team members daily. Help maintain organized wiring files and resolve documentation questions. Follow checklists, processes, and engineering standards to maintain quality and accuracy. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone eager to learn who also brings good work habits: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, high-quality work. Able to follow written and verbal instructions precisely and use checklists effectively. Comfortable asking clarifying questions and confirming understanding before starting tasks. Reliable and organized — takes ownership of work and follows through with minimal supervision. Basic electrical knowledge or genuine interest in electrical documentation work. Positive attitude and willingness to accept feedback and improve. Requirements Prior work experience in any field. Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software and documentation tools. Good English communication skills, both verbal and written (Spanish is a plus). Physically able to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Experience creating wiring lists, technical documentation, or working with electrical schematics. Experience in a manufacturing or electronics environment. Familiarity with test fixtures (a plus). Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. What We Offer Full-time permanent position in a growing company.
