Documentation Control Specialist Microsembly, LLC, Leaders in RF Microwave Contract Manufacturing, Microsembly seeks an energetic Documentation Control Specialist, I to join the Documentation Team to work with a documentation control system, filing, and general administrative duties. http://www.microsembly.com/ Position Summary In this position, you will develop the skills required to be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating customer and company assembly documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures, and support Customer Service, Purchasing, Stockroom and Kit Verification, Production, Engineering, Quality and other departments as needed. Date entry new into ERP database Develop and update process documentation including assembly procedures, test procedures, routers, travelers, BOMs, process flows Responsible for coordinating, updating and maintaining changes to internal and external documents and engineering documents through the ECO process. Maintains Document Change Request/QMS event databases and Master Documents / List. Maintains and updates Document Control/Rev Control systems in accordance with documented procedures. Track and Facilitate Periodic SOP reviews Manage Record / Document Filing system Proof and edit document changes Writes / reviews / participates in Investigations related to Document Control activities Maintain and Archive Controlled Documentation / Records / Testing Data Sheets / Logbooks / Quality System event documents and Logs Assist in the review documents with engineering guidance and recommend changes for streamlining and enhancements for completeness and accuracy. Facilitate customer-initiated ECN, Modifications / Approvals Communicates documentation and assembly issues to customers and resolutions of all issues to materials and/or manufacturing departments as needed. Keeps abreast of the basic requirements for compliance in own area of work and complies with those requirements. Maintains the area in a clean, neat and orderly manner. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Office business Programs. Read and interpret prints, BOM, assembly documentation for component placement and accuracy. Good communication both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and be proactive High attention to detail. Education and Experience High School diploma and/or GED or equivalent work experience and training as to documentation creation, control and maintenance. Exceptional planning and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced / team environment Engineering background ideal - work with Technical Drawings

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
