Job Description Stone Arch Commodities is looking for an Export Documentation Specialist to join our team! We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail, excels at following procedures to meet strict international shipping requirements and will enjoy working as part of a small team to help collect and assemble export documentation paperwork and invoices. This role entails creating export documentation packets for shipments originating in the United States. This includes creation of in-house documents, such as Commercial Invoices, Certificate of Origin, etc.; as well as obtaining documents from third parties, such as House & Masters Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificate, Certificate of Analysis, etc. The Export Documentation Specialist will be responsible for tracking multiple export shipments; submitting AES filings, shipping instructions, and verified gross masses; and providing customers with accurate, timely, and friendly service regarding these shipments. The documentation specialist will work closely with Stone Arch Commodities' Trade Team and the Logistics Team as well as steam ship lines, testing facilities, APHIS, banks, and customers. Please note, this position consists of 100% in-person work and is not available for remote arrangements. Our office in the North Loop (with option for lot parking across the street!) offers a casual, professional setting along with the opportunity to learn the export industry and be part of a small and fun team! Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience processing a high volume of documentation preferred.
  • Must have a desire to learn and follow strict requirements for documentation.
  • Ability to accurately complete tasks with a high level of detail.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Effective communication and attentive teamwork.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel, and Outlook. Compensation & Benefits

Pay:
$44,000-48,000 annually based on experience
  • Job training available for applicants demonstrating a strong work ethic and capabilities aligned with the requirements of the role
