Full-Time Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to support the implementation and maintenance of a File Management System (FMS) within a dynamic, project-driven environment. This role will work closely with project teams, engineering, and quality departments to ensure accurate document handling, organization, and compliance across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain project documentation within the File Management System (FMS) Ensure proper document numbering, naming, filing, and version control Support full document lifecycle including receipt, distribution, tracking, and archiving Maintain key registers such as Plan Status, External Document Register (EDR), and Internal Document Register (IDR) Ensure all project documents are accurately annotated and compliant with quality standards Organize and manage technical documentation from internal and external sources Provide document control support across multiple projects simultaneously Guide and support project team members in adhering to FMS processes and best practices Assist with project close-out activities, including document handover and office demobilization Support audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained
Qualifications:
Experience in document control, file management systems, or administrative support is preferred Understanding of document control processes, including numbering, filing, and tracking Familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting engineering, construction, or industrial projects Exposure to Quality Management Systems and document compliance processes
