Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a Documentation Specialist for a 3-month contract opportunity focused on improving, organizing, and standardizing internal documentation within Atlassian Confluence. This role is ideal for a technical documentation professional with recent hands-on Confluence experience who enjoys creating clean, searchable, and scalable knowledge management systems. The Documentation Specialist will help consolidate existing materials from multiple sources, improve documentation quality, and build a structured framework that teams can maintain long term. This is a highly collaborative onsite role with direct stakeholder interaction, making it a strong fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable bringing clarity to complex documentation environments. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, organize, and maintain internal documentation within Atlassian Confluence.
  • Evaluate existing documentation structures, templates, taxonomy, and workflows, then recommend improvements.
  • Consolidate and migrate content from Confluence, Box, Microsoft Office files, and PDFs into a standardized format.
  • Ensure documentation is consistent, searchable, user-friendly, and aligned with long-term knowledge management needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather missing information, validate content accuracy, and support adoption.
  • Recommend documentation tools, automation options, and best practices to improve workflow efficiency. Compensation and Benefits

    $30 per hour.
