Job Description

Position title : Strategic Leaders International Course (SLIC)
Lead Instructor Location :
Stennis Space Center, Mississippi Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Serve as the primary instructor and facilitator for the Strategic Leadership International Course (SLIC), guiding students through the curriculum. Be present and available throughout the entire five-week course period for each iteration. Attend and actively participate in key course events, including the introductory dinner, course lectures, the one-week off-site course trip, and the graduation ceremony. Assist the Course Director in the execution of the course, ensuring a smooth flow of instruction and activities. Facilitate discussions and hands-on exercises related to Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, and other strategic methodologies. Introduce and provide context for guest speakers and subject matter experts during their lectures. Engage with senior international military students to foster an environment of strategic thinking and enduring international relationships. Must possess Special Operations experience at command level or higher. Proven experience in instruction, facilitation, or mentorship, preferably with senior military leaders (O5-O7) and/or senior government officials. Strong understanding of strategic-level planning and design methodologies relevant to complex global challenges. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions, engage with international partners, and represent the command professionally at official functions. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a Course Director and multiple subject matter experts to deliver a cohesive and high-quality educational experience.
