Job Description

Our client is the world's preeminent manufacturer of highly-efficient integrated power and propulsion solutions. Their power systems are used in aerospace, marine, energy and off-highway applications. In the United States, our client employs over 6,000 people, with significant operations in 27 states. In Canada, they employ over 1,000 people across six provinces. Currently, they are looking to add an Aerospace Component Design Engineer (Structures & Casings Component Design Technical Specialist) to their team in Portland, OR area.

•This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. Our client will require proof of status prior to employment.

Hard Requirements:

8+ years of experience with casting design and manufacturing Aerospace MRB and producibility work Key Accountabilities Recognized as an authoritative source of technical expertise and advice in a local area within a business and viewed as a key member of the broader team of technical expertise by senior capability leadership. May be a specialist with depth and/or breadth of knowledge in their own discipline or field, or may be a specialist in company products and solutions and how they are differentiated from the competition. Generates business benefits through the application of specialist technical knowledge within their immediate area of expertise. Represents a critical resource to the "run and maintain" activity of a business, taking an active role in resolving current problems. Supports other technical specialists to advance knowledge in their capability area.
