Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Serving as the lead technical expert in pipeline design Leading, coaching, mentoring, and providing guidance to junior staff Creating/identifying opportunities to work with other departments/business units within the company Leading identification and sharing of foresight, innovation, and technology trends for our One Water group Having a presence both within Mead & Hunt and in the pipeline engineering community Making recommendations to management regarding technical training needs Monitoring industry trends Coordinating QA/QC for projects Other duties as assigned The successful candidate must have all the following: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university At least 10 years of relevant work experience PE license in any state The ideal candidate will have experience with any and/or all the following: Serving as a technical expert on complex pipeline projects Having an excellent nationally known reputation in the pipeline community Proven innovative and strategic thinking skills Training, mentoring, and/or guiding staff Interacting with the public through conferences, public speaking, and/or papers and blogs Business development including finding new work, leading proposals, and participating in interviews Experienced as a board member or committee leader on an industry-related professional organization If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com .
