Job Description

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world. We are seeking an experienced Mine Closure and Remediation Specialist who will support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will prepare closure plans, reclamation strategies and post-closure environmental management. This position is contingent upon contract award of the contract. If awarded, the anticipated period of performance will be approximately two years.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and analysis Support project scoping, assessments and reporting Contribute to stakeholder consultations and presentations Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices Support proposal and project delivery activities Qualifications to be successful in the role: Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with international project experience preferred Strong reporting and communication skills Experience in critical minerals, mining infrastructure, Africa, Latin America, or Indo-Pacific assignments preferred This position is subject to contract-specific eligibility requirements; applicants must meet all applicable U.S. Government contract requirements, including U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status, where required by the contract.
