This role combines technical design, project coordination, field support, and client interaction while offering strong opportunities for professional growth within an employee-owned organization. Responsibilities Design and prepare civil and environmental engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including site development, landfill systems, gas collection systems, piping, stormwater, and wastewater infrastructure. Perform engineering calculations and analyses related to soil mechanics, stormwater management, wastewater systems, and facility performance. Prepare engineering drawings, construction documents, technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory compliance documentation. Coordinate project activities to meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. Conduct site inspections, field investigations, data collection, and construction observation. Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions, resolve technical issues, and ensure project success. Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders through meetings and presentations. Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client engagement, and industry events. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. 4+ years of experience in civil, environmental, or solid waste engineering. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Experience with site design, land development, landfill design, gas collection systems, piping, and related infrastructure. Knowledge of stormwater, wastewater, and soil mechanics principles. Strong technical writing, communication, and project coordination skills. Valid driver's license and ability to perform field work in varying weather and site conditions. Preferred Qualifications Experience with solid waste management facilities, including landfills, landfill gas systems, and composting operations. Familiarity with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance. Experience supporting proposals, client relationships, and business development activities. Interest in long-term career growth within an employee-owned consulting environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bedford, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
