The Deputy Chief of Professional Standards assists the Fire Chief in providing leadership and oversight of department operations, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous organizational improvement. This position provides strategic direction for Emergency Medical Services, training and professional development, incident management systems, and internal compliance programs while supporting the department's mission and service standards. The successful candidate must also fulfill all duties and responsibilities of a firefighter as defined by the State of Minnesota.
