Job Description
Millcreek Township has a full-time opening for an Emergency Apparatus (Fire) Mechanic in Fleet Maintenance . We are seeking an experienced individual to perform skilled and semi-skilled work in the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of fire apparatus, ambulances, rescue vehicles, and other Township vehicles and equipment. Experience maintaining emergency response vehicles, fire pumps, aerial devices, and related systems is strongly preferred. Duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire suppression systems; performing preventive maintenance; welding and fabrication; installing and repairing emergency equipment; purchasing repair parts and supplies; and maintaining maintenance and inspection records.
