• Must possess a valid CFEI certification through NAFI or CFI through IAAI.
• Must possess (or have the ability to obtain) a Private Investigator License in the state in which they are assigned within 60 days of employment (if applicable).
• Must be familiar with NFPA 921 and 1033
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with the firm's guidelines.
• Must be willing to travel and/or work a flexible schedule during periods of peak demand. Application Preferences
• Possess valid

NAFI-CVFI, IAAI-CFI

(V) and/or

IAAI-FIT

• Previous experience in subrogation and insurance claims for fire loss'
• Previous expert testimony or deposition experience highly preferred but not required.
• Degree or some college coursework is preferred but not required.
• "Hands on/In the field" experience working in the public and/or private sectors performing origin and cause investigations on residential and commercial structures.
• Experience with writing detailed reports.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications/programs
