Job Description

We are seeking experienced Fire & Life Safety professionals to join our team in the Hickory, NC area. We have multiple openings available for skilled technicians and leaders with experience in fire protection systems, inspections, service, and installation.
Open positions include:
Fire Sprinkler Foreman Fire Sprinkler Service Technician Fire Sprinkler Inspector Fire Alarm Service Technician Fire Extinguisher Technician Position Overview:
These roles are responsible for inspecting, testing, installing, servicing, and maintaining critical fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with NFPA codes, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities May Include:
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire protection systems including: Fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam) Fire alarm systems (panels, detectors, notification devices, and related equipment) Fire extinguishers and associated safety equipment Perform system installations, service repairs, preventative maintenance, and deficiency corrections. Diagnose system issues and recommend repairs or improvements. Complete detailed inspection reports, service documentation, and customer records. Communicate professionally with customers regarding system operation, findings, and recommendations. Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. Maintain a safe, organized work environment and properly care for tools, equipment, and vehicles.
For Foreman-level candidates:
Lead installation crews, coordinate daily activities, train team members, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in fire protection, fire alarm, sprinkler, or life safety systems. Knowledge of NFPA codes and industry standards. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage job schedules. Comfortable working in commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights and in confined spaces when required. Additional Requirements by
Role:
Fire Sprinkler Inspector:
NICET Level I and NC State Sprinkler Inspection License required.
Fire Sprinkler Foreman:
Previous sprinkler installation leadership experience preferred.
Fire Alarm Technician:
Experience with fire alarm inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs preferred.
