Job Description

Compensation:
$20/hour + full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401(k)
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Inspection Technician to support inspection, maintenance, and servicing of fire extinguishers and related fire suppression equipment throughout the New York City area. This is a great opportunity for candidates with some fire safety, maintenance, mechanical, or field service experience who are looking to build a long-term career within the fire protection industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspect and tag fire extinguishers and related fire suppression equipment Perform testing, maintenance, recharging, and replacement of fire extinguishers Maintain accurate service records and inspection documentation Travel to customer locations throughout the NYC boroughs Provide professional customer service and safety recommendations Participate in ongoing training and certification programs Follow company safety standards and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Some fire safety, maintenance, mechanical, or inspection experience preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to travel throughout NYC boroughs Strong attention to detail and communication skills Must be able to pass FDNY Certificate of Fitness (COF) exam within first 45 days OSHA 30 certification is a plus About the
