Fire Suppression Technician

We are hiring a fire suppression technician (and future manager) for the Central Oregon market to service kitchen fire suppression systems and extinguishers. Apex Fire Control (and Apex Hood Cleaning) has been around since 1978. We are a West Coast company with a philosophy of staying small while we grow large. Each of our teams form small, dynamic business units so we can best take care of our customers. We are searching for a motivated, ambitious person to grow with us as our company continues to grow. The character of the person we hire matters as much as their competency because they will be entrusted with key responsibilities and leadership. If you don't currently live in Central Oregon, we have a relocation package we'd be happy to offer. Experience with the leading providers of fire suppression equipment (Amerex, Ansul, etc.) is required. A detailed list of job duties can be provided upon request, however any qualified applicant currently working on kitchen fire suppression systems will know what the job entails.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• Driving record that meets our insurance requirements
• Background check and drug testing prior to employment
• 2 years experience in the fire suppression industry
• NAFED certification
• Willing to travel
• Ability to climb ladder and lift 50lbs
