Visits fire scenes, collects evidence and analyzes findings to determine the cause of fires; may provide official findings or testimony in cases where arson is the cause of a fire.

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Fire Watch to support our commercial construction projects. The Fire Watch is responsible for monitoring hot work areas, identifying potential hazards, and taking immediate action to help maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor hot work activities, including welding, cutting, grinding, and other spark producing work. Inspect work areas for fire hazards before, during, and after hot work activities. Maintain required fire extinguishers and other fire protection equipment in the work area. Immediately report fires, unsafe conditions, or other hazards to the appropriate supervisor. Remain attentative and in designated areas for the duration of the fire watch and complete required documentation.
Qualifications:
Osha 10 certification required. Previous construction or fire watch experience preferred. Knowledge of basic fire prevention and construction site safety practices. Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods. Equal Opportunity and Drugfree Workplace
