Fire Hose Test Technician (Seasonal) About us: Waterway is the largest fire equipment testing company in the United States. We work with local fire departments across Maryland to test their equipment (primarily fire hose, ground ladders, and pumps) to ensure they meet all performance and safety requirements. About the role : The Fire Hose Test Technician works as a part of a cohesive team with 6-9 members. The team meets locally each day before traveling together to that day's job at the fire department. At Waterway, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best. You will learn on the job how to test firehoses, ladders, hard suction, nozzles, and appliances. You can take on different levels of responsibility - crew member, water pump operator, trailer driver, operations leader, or even crew leader. We have multiple positions immediately available. Every morning we meet up in a specific location. We leave at 7:30 am and start working at 8 AM. Employees have the option to travel to and from the daily job testing site in company vehicles, which depart and return to our meet-up location every day. Alternatively, employees are also able to arrange their own transportation to the job site if preferred.
