Job Description
Per Diem Firefighter / EMT The Town of Hampstead (population 9000) is seeking competent and principled per diem Firefighter / EMTs to be part of our exciting and growing team. Five-person duty crew is a mix of full-time personnel and per diem members. Flexible scheduling based on 24 or 12-hour shifts with a limit of 48 hours per week, and a limit of 1560 hours per year. Must be a U.S. citizen and a minimum of 18 years of age. High School graduate or equivalent. National Registry EMT certification required (AEMT preferred). Current or eligible for New Hampshire EMS Provider license. NH Firefighter I certification required (Firefighter II preferred). Current CPR certification. Must have a current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred). Must be able to pass a driving record and background check. Hourly Rate is $22 with a 3% pay raise after a year.
