A Firefighter responds to fire alarms and other emergency calls. Puts out fires and rescues people from buildings. Responds to medical emergencies and assists with search and rescue efforts and industrial or hazardous waste accidents. Provides fire prevention programs or inspections in the community. May be specially trained to fight forest fires.

Job Description
Jackson County Fire District 3, Fire District 4, and Fire District 5 are now hiring Entry Level & Experienced Firefighters! Our mission is to protect life and property through community engagement and emergency response services. Our firefighters deliver this mission daily through educating the community, suppression of fires, pre-hospital EMS, and Technical Rescue response. We strive to achieve the highest standard of response and customer service to our communities. This application is open for the following positions:
