JOB SUMMARY
Bristol Motor Speedway is looking for qualified Firefighters to join our event team. This is a seasonal, event staff position. The firefighter provider will respond to fire and other non-emergency calls. Compensation is based on certification.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL PREFERENCES
Knowledge of organization, and department policies, practices, and procedures Must have knowledge of firefighting techniques and procedures related to fire suppression. Skills in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. Ability to operate various fire apparatus, high-pressure hose, safety equipment, and two-way radio. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with BMS staff, NASCAR staff and the public. Ability to follow directions effectively, both orally and in writing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED and state of residence issued Firefighter I or Firefighter II certifications. After employment, you will be required to attend annual Track Services Training that is offered each year.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required. NASCAR Track Services Training is required Valid Drivers' License A copy of your Certification must be attached to your application. Failure to attach your certification may result in your application being reject
