Opportunity Description Fire Recruit is a temporary status for new employees while they complete their requirements to becoming a fully certified Firefighter/Paramedic. Anticipated Opportunity Timeline Dates are anticipated and may be adjusted as the hiring process progresses. August 21-October 11: Applications will be reviewed throughout the posting period, and qualified candidates may receive CPAT invitations prior to the application deadline. October 19-23: Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). Candidates who successfully complete the CPAT may advance to the interview process. October 26-30: Panel Interviews. November 2-6: Selection & Candidate Notifications. Pay Structure This opportunity is non-exempt and budgeted on a Step Plan.
