This position will be responsible for implementing and enforcing all Boeing Fire Administrative Procedures and Tactical Operating Standards. Notifies Boeing Fire Locals of all emergency incidents involving an injury, fatality, or damage to any Boeing Property. The Lieutenant will initiate Incident Command during the Fire Captain's absence and will provide assistance in emergency rescue/medical response and service, aircraft landing and takeoffs standbys, hazmat spills response, fueling, alarm response and service. They will serve as driver-operator of fire apparatus or hand lineman position at the discretion of the assigned Fire Officer. Will participate at emergency incident scenes while under the direction of the Fire Officer. Must be able to maneuver a fire truck safely into the most advantageous position for combating a fire. Conducts inspections of all ARFF vehicles, fire vehicles, tools/equipment, medical equipment and supplies inside and outside of the hangar. Conduct building and fire extinguisher inspections and maintenance. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
(IFSAC/Pro-Board/TCFP) Minimum 3 years' experience in Fire Protection, with a minimum of 1 years' ARFF & Structural firefighting experience. Fire Officer I Fire Instructor I Fire Inspector I Hazardous Materials Incident Commander Hazardous Materials Operations or Technician ARFF Driver/Operator Airport Firefighter Firefighter I/II National Registry orTCFP EMT-B
American Heart Association (AHA) CPR with AED or equivalentNIMS ICS
100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800 PREFRREDQUALIFICATIONS/CERTICATIONS
