Job Description
Answer the Call. Advance your career Are you an experienced Firefighter/Advanced EMT or higher looking for your next opportunity. Join a team that values professionalism, dedication, and service to the community. Accomack County is currently accepting applications. This position will be responsible for fire protection, performing skilled emergency and non-emergency work, driving rescue vehicles, rescuing the sick or injured, and administering emergency medical care, including basic trauma life support. Minimum qualifications include : High school diploma or GED, Virginia EMT - Advanced or above, Virginia Firefighter II, Virginia Hazmat Operations, VDFP, EVOC, and CPR. Ability to meet departmental physical and medical requirements, strong communication and decision-making skills, and a passion for serving others.
