Job Description
Charlotte Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services, Inc (CVFRS), a private non-profit organization located in Charlotte, Vermont seeks to hire a permanent part-time firefighter position. The part-time position will serve as the firefighter on duty and may be required to backfill the ambulance duty crew as needed. This position will be assigned 20-24 hours per week, based on the needs of the organization. This position may include days, nights, weekends and holidays. Duties include, but are not limited to, fire and emergency medical services, related training, and maintenance of emergency vehicles, emergency equipment and fire station. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, in addition to possessing the following:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Vermont Firefighter I minimum
- Firefighter II preferred
- VEFR minimum, EMT, A-EMT or Paramedic preferred
- Must submit OSHA Respiratory Questionnaire, pass a fit for duty medical exam and background check For additional information and application, visit our website.
