Successfully participate in and complete the Hanford Fire Department (HFD) new-hire Firefighter academy as well as the Washington State Firefighter Apprenticeship Program (3 years), including off-plant class time at an accredited higher education institution. In the first year of employment must successfully complete both an initial hire Firefighter recruit academy and a probationary evaluation period. This is an entry level position initially assigned to a day-shift Mon-Thurs during training. Basic Qualifications •Possess a high school diploma or GED.
