Job Summary Overview and Responsibilities Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) has partnered with several Wisconsin municiple fire departments to assist with their hiring needs. Each partnering fire department accepts applications through CVTC's online application portal and interviews/hires independantly. In order to by eligible for employment, candidates must have successfuly completed a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) and the Ergometrics FireTEAM written exam. Both tests are offered through CVTC's fire program periodically. Physical Testing Candidates will be required to pass the International Association of Fire Fighters CPAT test. In ordered to be offered employment, your application must have a valid CPAT certificate attached. A valid CPAT certificate must be dated within the last 12 months.
