You will be the Inspector Senior for the Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for... What You Will Be Doing As the Inspector Senior you will be responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe, compliant manner and communicating leadership issues that could impact business operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead inspection peers in daily inspection work area assignments. Lead in shifting inspection assignments to ensure production needs are met Ensure new inspectors are trained/certified in assigned areas Demonstrate organizational skills and engage with the team to ensure success Ensure Leadership is informed /notified regarding discrepancies that could impact production. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and support business needs.
  • Ability to quickly learn multi-inspection / verification methods and requirements.
  • Demonstrate ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Work in heat/cold and wet/dry conditions.
  • Interim Secret required to start with ability to obtain secret security clearance.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of AIDT training required prior to start.
  • 1 year requirement as an assembler
  • Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
