Smog Check Inspector License Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:

Perform California smog inspections on customer vehicles Follow all California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) procedures and regulations Properly operate smog inspection and testing equipment Verify vehicle information before performing inspections Accurately complete and maintain required smog inspection records Explain smog inspection results to customers in a professional and courteous manner Maintain a clean, safe, and organized smog inspection area Perform basic visual inspections of vehicles as required during the smog inspection process Report equipment problems or maintenance needs promptly Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy Communicate effectively with service advisors, technicians, management, and customers
