Job Description
A contracting agent for the Idaho DHW Idaho Tobacco Project, Benchmark, is looking for minors to effectively and efficiently conduct Idaho Tobacco Compliance Inspections. The inspections are designed to fulfill requirements of Idaho Code Title 39-5702, Prevention of Minors' Access to Tobacco Products or Electronic Smoking Devices. Specific job duties include entering Idaho businesses with valid ID and asking to purchase tobacco products or electronic smoking devices and filling out paperwork. Minors will work with an Inspection Team consisting of an Adult Tobacco Inspector, Adult Chaperone, and other Minor Inspectors. Time commitments range from 10 to 30 hours a month and hours are irregular and intermittent typically occurring on weekends. Inspections will not be conducted during operating school hours (8am to 3pm M-F) unless minor is available during online school off hours. Minor Inspectors must be at least 16 years old, and the position will terminate once minor reaches 20 years 9 months.
