Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
: Under close supervision of the supervising attorney, is responsible for conducting legal research including researching precedents in cases; prepares and disseminates complex documents; compiles and prepares subpoenas, pleadings, etc.; develops and modifies forms and procedures; delivers legal pleadings. Will be responsible for a criminal case load and appear in court for any proceedings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
Applicant must have completion of a law degree; License to practice law in the State of Georgia OR Eligibility to sit for the next Georgia Bar examination. Applicant must possess a driver's license issued by the State of Georgia and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Applicant must pass a background check and drug screening.
