Job Description

The Luce County Family Court is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee juvenile court operations, conduct investigations involving delinquincy and child welfare matters, supervise youth on probation, coordinate diversion and treatment services, and servce as referee on designated court matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct investigations involving juvenile delinquicy, abuse, neglect, and family court matters Interview youth, families, law enforcement, schools, and treatment providers Develop recommendations, treatment plans, and probatin conditions for court consideration Monitor compliance with court orders and supervise probation cases Coordinate diversion programming, electronic monitoring, and detention-related services Serve as a referee for designated juvenile proceedings when assigned Prepare reports, maintain case records, and assist with budgeting and grants Serve as a liason with community agencies, schools, and law enforcement Participate in evening and weekend on-call rotations for emergency juvenile matters Perform informal Hearings, Arraignments, and Marriages Backup 11th
Circuit Court Co-Workers Working Conditions:
Travel throughout Luce and Mackinac County for home visits, school visits, and court-related duties. Availability for evening and weekend on-call responsibilities required.
